There are many ways to experience all that England has to offer. On a recent trip to the country I visited both London and the Lake District and both were spectacular in their own way. London has so many famous sites to visit from Buckingham Palace to Big Ben and this is not even
mentioning its wild night life. The Lake District on the other hand, is just so peaceful, offering a level of beauty to the visitor that prior to my trip, I was unaware was even present in the UK. Of everything that I did on my trip however, what really stood out was the helicopter ride. There are multiple companies offering this service all over England and upon seeing an advertisement, I decided to try it out.
The first thing that you should know about England helicopter rides is that they are nothing like being on a plane. The way the helicopter just slowly floats up into the air is completely different and I think that the first time you experience being on a helicopter, it is something that you will remember for the rest of your life. There are numerous locations in which you can experience England helicopter rides but I chose to take my helicopter ride in the Lake District. Now this area of England is beautiful whether you are in a helicopter or not but from a thousand feet in the air it is truly spectacular.
One thing I should also mention however is that England helicopter rides are not exactly what you would call cheap. The cheapest helicopter ride that I found advertised was seventy five dollars and that only allowed you five minutes in the air. Now I admit that taking off for the first time is highly memorable, five minutes is in my opinion not enough time to fully experience things. If you take a longer helicopter ride then the price per minute tends to go down. My helicopter ride was two hundred and fifty dollars and that consisted of a half an hours flying time. During those fascinating thirty minutes, we flew over countless hills and lakes and it is truly something that I will remember for the rest of my life
After reading this article, you can probably tell that I deeply recommend England helicopter rides. The only downside is the price, however things are pretty expensive at this side of the world anyway and I don't think that there is anything that you could buy for the same price that would be half as memorable. On my next visit to England, I intend on taking another trip into the sky and if you are heading there in the near future, I think that you should do the same. |
